I wanted to design a type specimen that highlighted the characteristics and personality of OHNO Type Co.’s Ohno Fatface. One of my first impressions of the typeface was its chunky, blocky feel which reminded me of a Southern menu. Inspired by the Southern feel, I created a type specimen that incorporates Fatface’s variety of widths, sizes, and OpenType features.
